I was in the mood to scrap this week! Here are my outputs:
I did this layout for the Total Chaos contest at Sugar & Spice Scrapbooking. The challenge was to scrap about the chaos in your life. I scrapped about the mess that Julia & Ally make when they start playing. Used Scenic Route Savannah pps for this one. I love the combo of fushcia, orange & apple green with a touch of black.
Journaling: A lot of people say that the two of us look so much alike. The chinky eyes, the thick black hair, even the nose. But more that just the looks, I think we even have more similarities. We both like pink, we like to dress up, we don’t like getting dirty, we can be stubborn at times…the list can go on. Even if you have some qualities like mommy, just remember that you can be who you want to be. (august 2008) This layout is for the "Mini Me" challenge at Scrappin Kids. The theme for the challenge is something about your child that reminds you of yourself. Of course I scrapped about Julia who a lot of people say look so much like me. Used Teresa Collins pp for this one.
Did this layout for the A Peek Into Yesterday Sketch contest for September. I really love sketches! Used Basic Grey pps & my newly acquired felt vines.

A Productive Weekend
This weekend was very productive for me. I joined Scrappin Kids weekend of challenges. There were 7 challenges posted & there was a RAK at stake for every challenge. I was able to finish 4 challenges (3 layouts & 1 card)!
Wati's Lift Me Challenge - The challenge was to scraplift her latest layout. Her layout is sooo gorgeous, it was really great to "lift" it. I rotated it 90 degrees clockwise coz my picture is horizontal.
Here's the original:
Here's my version:
Liza's Plain Stuff Challenge - The challenge was to use just cardstock on the layout plus embellishments. Patterned papers were not allowed.
Cookie's Rub & Stamp Challenge - The challenge was to use stamps & rub-ons on the layout.
Incidentally, this layout was chosen to receive the RAK for this challenge! Yippee!
I'm a slow scrapper so finishing 3 layouts in 3 days is quite an accomplishment for me! I was also able to use pics that have been printed out for quite some time now. Also some stash that have been with me for almost a year. Now, I can buy more! LOL!

Some layouts for Julia
It's Julia's birthday this Saturday. I can't believe she's turning 6 already. Here are two layouts I did for her.
This layout is based on a sketch at Creative Scrappers. Used a mix of Cherry Arte & Urban Lily pps (which was part of my kit last Scrapfest) for this one.
Here's the sketch:
This next one is a 2-page spread of her birthday celebration last year. Used Basic Grey Cupcake pps for this one.
Journaling: Your birthday this year was celebrated quite differently. Of course, the cake and party hats are there but you spent this special day in a different place…at Plantation Bay Resort in Mactan, Cebu. After a fun-filled day of swimming with your sister Ally & cousins Gabie, Mya, & Enzo, its time to blow the candles! (20 Sept 2007, Julia's 5th birthday).
Here are closer views of the layouts:

Kanoa & Korey
Here are some layouts I did for my nephews Kanoa & Korey. I placed some journaling blocks so dear sis can write her journaling.
That cute litte boy is Kanoa, who is now 15 years old!
A quick page using Basic Grey Obscure pps.
This layout is based on sketch #15 at Creative Scrapper's. Used Daisy Bucket playlist pps for this one. Here's the sketch:
thanks for looking!
