Scrapjam projects

As promised, here are pics of the projects we made at scrapjam:

This gift bag is so cute, and so ideal for give-aways.

This is the 2 CD pocket with album. Another ideal gift. The Scenic Route Liberty papers are so pretty!

I really love this black & white album. It's so elegant! I have to look for the perfect pictures for this one.

This card I will most probably give to my mom on her birthday.

It was really a very productive day. Thanks again to Marissa & Nette.

Scrapjam!

Scrapjam yesterday, sponsored by Ms. Marissa's Scrapbooks Hawaii & Ms. Nenette's My Little Attic was a blast! The demo's & projects which included a Card Tote/Gift Bag, a 2-CD Pocket Album, a Flip-Flap Album, & a card were all so nice & very ideal as gifts. The food was great too! Here are some pics of the event:

To even add to my excitement that day, my layout, Sweet Solitude won in My Little Attic's "Scrap your favorite summer destination" challenge. Here's my layout:

It's so obvious I was so happy!

Here are my super yummy prizes. Thanks to Ms. Nette Madero for being so generous!

Here's what's inside the orange portfolio (lots of cardstock, lots of KI lace cardstock, See D's stamping mat, Bazzill Splat Mat, Basic Grey Obscure collection pack, Chatterbox memory building kit, & Making Memories attachment assortment:

I also got myself some patterned paper, cardstock, embossing powder (haven't tried embossing yet), Basic Grey Wilma chipboard, some stickers & die cuts, and my favorite of all... fiskars border punches (threading water & sunburst).

Will post pics of the projects soon.
I'm still on a high!

Love Notes

I found this in my closet the other day:

Some Stories to Share

My dearest hubby just came back from a week long trip. The girls really missed him, they both wanted to sleep beside him. Here's the evidence:

My dear friend Mutya, now based in California is in town for her yearly visit. We had snacks with Glen, another one of my closest friends. We don't get to see each other often but the friendship remains!

Oh, Mutya brought this for me:

School is Cool

Made this one for one of the contests at Mystical Scrapbooks. Requirements were to use the colors: orange, white & teal. Used pink paislee papers here.

Journaling: Summer vacation is over. It's the first day of school. As always, you are excited to go! (6-05-08)
