Happy 4th anniversary to me!

I just remembered and realized the other day that I started scrapping in July 2007. That means I've been scrapping for 4 years now, so Happy Anniversary to me!!! LOL! I'm really so happy that I discovered this wonderful hobby. Thanks to Rita Vergara who introduced me to scrapbooking and to the rest of the LB Scrapaholics who are now my very dear friends. I look forward to more years of scrapping (and scrap shopping, hehe), more finished layouts, and more memories recorded!

Moving on.... here are a couple of pages I finished recently.

Title: Navy Pier

Journaling: The weather was perfect for a day at Navy Pier.

This layout is inspired by a sketch from Sketch Thursdays. I used papers from WRMK Yankee Doodles

Title: Jumpshot

This layout is inspired by the "workout" at ScrapFIT, its all about summer, and layout should have yellow and a clock. I used a photo of myself with DD Julia and cousin Essa, taken at Boracay on our vacation last April. I used Basic Grey's Lauderdale line for this one which is perfect for summer layouts!

I'm back!!!

Hello blog! I'm back and hopefully I'll be back often. LOL! I can't believe I haven't posted anything for 3 months! To cut the story short...we were away for a 2 week vacation during the last 2 weeks of May, then it was back to school for my girls, and everything else kept me busy. I have lots of photos to print and scrap and new scrappy stuff to play ---this should be enough motivation for me!

Good news is...I was able to finish 5 layouts recently! Thanks to Iris Uy's Pink Paislee/Crate Paper class!
Here's my output on that day....

Title: My New Bike

One of the things Ally enjoyed doing last summer was riding her bike. She loves her yellow helmet too!

Title: HipHop Pose

DD Julia was into ballet a few years ago but she stopped. This summer, she had lessons in HipHop. Photo was taken just before her dance recital.

This photo was taken during our wedding anniversary this year. It's not the greatest photo but nonetheless special = )

This is another special photo of my 2 girls with their cousins, Kanoa and Korey!

Inspired by sketches

My scrapping output has been low for the past few months but I try my best to squeeze in some scrapping time. Here are two layouts that I finished lately... both are inspired by sketches from Inspired Blueprints.

This layout is about Ally and her eagerness to learn how to read. I'm so happy that we didn't have any difficulty teaching her how to read. I'm so glad too that DH is patient when it comes to teaching her. He's actually more patient than me! I used mostly October Afternoon for this one.

This layout  shows me, my cousins, and my girls goofing around at my cousin's wedding last Feb. I used Basic Grey's Olivia for this one.

Dance!

My DD Julia loves to dance. At present she is enrolled in an hip-hop dance class.  Here's a layout of her dancing her heart out at a school program. I really wanted to use Websters' Hollywood Vogue line for these pictures.

I managed to finish a few layouts during the Holy Week break. My inspiration for this layout is the April Build a Page sketch over at Prima. Julia is just about to turn 4 here and Ally is barely 2 months old!
