Last minute entry

I still have this craving to scrap so I cleaned my table and got busy. As always, sketches help me finish layouts faster. Here's my finished layout...

Sketchy Goodness

Something Simple

I was browsing through an old issue of Creating Keepsakes when I read this statement by Ali Edwards: "Stop overthinking and start creating." I really like this statement of hers, coz I'm such a slow scrapper! I always think twice, or thrice, even more on what papers I should use!

Here's a layout I finished recently...simple but it captures a special moment of my girls with their daddy on father's day.





This is based on the July sketch at Scrap, Inspire, Create. Used mostly OA papers for this one.

"BOY" layout!

My hectic schedule continues up to today...so sorry for posting this layout late. This is my take on the Design Dollies sketch for last week. Here's the sketch:

I was so glad I was able to spend time with my nephew Korey when I visited them last May. I will always remember that he decides on where we should sit during dinner time; who sits beside him in the car, usually its me or lola (grandma); he wants me to watch him play Wii, or I play with him (which I enjoyed); and he gave up his bed for 2 weeks and slept on the couch during my stay! Miss you Korey!

I hope the coming days won't be as busy, I miss scrapping!

Lots of Prima here coz I'm still loving the shabby chic look. Ally here is her usual funny self. I love having a 4 year old...coz the expressions on their faces are just priceless, and the things she says just surprises me!

Purple, Olive Green and Cream

I have been super busy these past few weeks and I'm hoping things slow down a bit. I have been unable to scrap except for DT layouts. I've written down challenges that I wanted to join but I was not able to create any entries. Haven't been blog hopping lately too. Sigh....okay, enough whining here!

When I was visiting my sister in Chicago last May, there were a lot of purple flowers in bloom. Our photos are perfect for the color combo for design dollies this week: purple, olive green & cream!
