Girly layouts

Having two daughters means I create girly layouts most of time. I can't really stay away from Prima and Websters right ?! LOL! Anyway, here are my most recent layouts....

Title: Ally's 5th bday

Used the beautiful Let's Celebrate line from Webster's.

Up next is my layout for Prima's build-a-page for August.....

Title: Two of a Kind

I just love the quote on the Prima pp. I think it would be unfair if I used it for just one of my girls so I used it for a photo of the two of them.

That's it folks...we have a 4-day weekend which starts tomorrow but the weather forecast doesn't look so good.

 Work has busy the past few days but I need to scrap! Here are my recently finished layouts...

Title: Fun Times

Made this layout for Paper Secrets Brand Challenge.  The featured brand is Basic Grey. I used Life of the Party for this one which is so ideal for Disney pictures! If there's a recent staple in my layouts lately, well it has to be the Ali Edwards' quote stamps! I just love it! This layout is also inspired by WW #49 at ScrapFIT It's all about banners!

These next two layouts are the layouts I did at Liezl's birthday bash.

Title: Up, Up and Away

Journaling: Daddy, Julia, and Ally enjoyed every minute of it but I had my eyes closed most of the time! (Bora, April 2011)

This layout is inspired by the first sketch challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge. Aside from using the sketch, the layout should be about something funny. My pictures are not so funny but my journaling is about how DH and my kids enjoyed parasailing but I was the one scared!!!

There you have it! Hmmm... I wonder if I'll get any scrapping done this week!

More travel layouts...

It has been a busy week and I haven't been able to scrap as much as I want but here are a couple of layouts I finished recently. I'm still scrapping vacation pics...still have a pile to work on.

Journaling: ...means a day at the beach. This is time well spent (April 2011, Bora)

Title: Sight Seeing

Journaling: We did not do any shopping, nor did we bump into a celebrity but we enjoyed walking around Rodeo Drive (May 2011)

This layout is based on a sketch over at PageMaps. Used Websters, Pink Paislee, Crate Paper, and a gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard. Thanks also to Cors for my chipboard title.

Yay! I was featured at The Color Room

The Color Room is one of the scrapbooking sites that I visit often when I need some inspiration. I love seeing the different color palettes each week and I enjoy trying it out. It lets me scrap outside my comfort zone especially when the colors are not my "usual." Last week's color palette is not my usual but I gave it a go. Here's my layout....
