Its not too late for Christmas layouts

I was at an overnight scrapping party last weekend to celebrate my friend Rita's birthday. Since its still January, I decided I'll work on my Christmas photos.

Here's my output....4 layouts after about 10 hours of scrapping with eating and chatting in between. We started around 5 pm and called it a night at 4 am.

A simple layout using Websters' Royal Christmas

Another layout using Websters' Royal Christmas.
Journaling: It's our turn to smile and pose --- can't help it, we have to have a wacky shot.

I used My Mind's Eye Merry and Bright pps for this one. Had fun with Washi tape too.

Used Echo Park for this one.
Journaling: Year after year, you decorate this small tree in your own little way. This year you used small stars made from folded strips of paper which you made with Ate Julia (Ally at 6 y/o)

I really had fun scrapping the night away and creating these layouts. No rules were followed (or broken, LOL), it was just pure scrapping FUN!

I'm back!

Happy New Year to all! I know my greeting is very late but I just realized that this is my first blog post for 2013! Yup, my scrapbooking is off to a slow start this year but I'm glad to share with you two new layouts! Both are about my daughters' love for ballet...

Title: I hope you dance
My DD Ally on her first ballet recital last May 2012. She loves dancing and is already looking forward to her next dance recital this summer. Used a mini kit by Echo Park.

Title: She's a Dancer
My DD Julia on her ballet recital last May 2011. She stopped taking lessons for 1 1/2 years but her love for ballet has prevailed so now she's back. The background paper and flowers are from Prima but the stickers are from Echo Park. Oh, and this layout is based on Sketch 241 at Creative Scrappers.

Thanks for dropping! My next agenda is to scrap Christmas photos. Hope to be back soon.
