My recent layouts

Just sharing some of my recent layouts:

This picture is really special 'coz it was the first time for my daughter Julia to meet her cousin Korey.
Journaling: It's the first time for Julia & Korey to meet. This is one rare moment that you have your picture taken together. I hope that despite the distance separating the two of you, you will still have the chance to get to know each other better. (nov 2006)
I actually did this for a mini-challenge at scrappin kids. The challenge was to use 5 different patterned papers as a photo mat. It was fun doing this page. I used pink paislee, 7gypsies, we r memory keepers, & scenic route papers. Also played around with prima build a frame stamps for the border. I also tried out my fiskars border punches (sunburst & threading water) but it's not so obvious.

Did this one again for my dear nephew Korey. The layout is based on a random challenge at scrappin kids' using "white space" on the layout. Used here the super nice Prima Dude pp's

This next one I did for the july sketch at Mystical Scrapbooks. Here's the sketch:

Here's my layout:

Journaling: It never fails, you always have a splashin' good time at the pool. (Antulang Beach Resort, 5-24-08)
Materials used: KI lace cardstock, Sassafraslass Serendipity pps; Basic Grey Wilma chipboard, Fancy pants stams (on transparency); MM brads; Reeves acrylic paint; Ranger glossy accents; Uniball signo pen; bling

This next layout is one of my favorites. Did this at Issa's house when the LB Scrapaholics got together for an afternoon of scrapping. Requirements for the layout were: 1) use transparency, 2)use 5 different fonts on the layout, 3) use stamps, 4) use plain white cardstock as base, & 5) use at least 1 black & white photo. Here's my take:

Journaling: This picture was taken 4 months after you had your seizure. You look every inch like a healthy little girl, because you are one! You have been given a clean bill of health by your neurologist. Tests are normal, & medications have been discontinued. We have always believed that you will be fine, & that God is good all the time. Things are looking up my dear Ally! The world is out there for you to conquer... (Photo taken 5-24-08; Journaling written on 6-22-08)Materials used: PP: Tinkering Ink Al Fresco; Fancy pants glitter cuts; Prima Build a Frame stamp; HS chipboard alphas; AC vinyl thickers (poolside); BG Wilma Chipboard alphas; CI narratives; Prima flowers; HS floral centers; Prima crytstals; Reeves Glitter glue.
