I'm not much of a card maker, but Mother's Day is coming up soon and its the perfect chance to make a card for my Mom! I hope she likes it, after all yellow is her fave color! It's also my first time to use a digi stamp. Thanks to Some Odd Girl! I also used the color combo for Design Dollies.
Here's my simple card...

Just sharing...
Here are some layouts I did recently which I haven't posted here.
This is for the Scrapbook Challenges Scraplift the POTW challenge last month. I'm happy I was able to use a lot of scraps for this one (mostly from BG Lemonade)
This one is for Scrap the Girls April challenge. My layout is clean and simple and can be finished in 30 mins or even less but I like the outcome.
Thanks for letting me share!

Lovin' the shabby chic look!
Lately I've been loving the shabby chic look in layouts. This happens when the papers on my desk are the new lines from Prima. Here's what I mean...
This layout is based on the sketch for the monthly contest over at PageMaps. I flipped the sketch to fit my photos.
Title: Everyday Princess
Journaling: always let your beauty shine from within (Ally, 3 years old)
Materials: PPS (Prima Pastiche & Websters), flowers & trims (Prima), title card (MME)
Have you been to The Color Room? Its a new scrapbooking site that will surely inspire you. The first color palette is up and it is the inspiration for this layout.
Title: Day Care Grad
Journaling: When you started day care, you weren't happy, you were clingy and crying all the time. You refused to be left behind! Things changed after 2 months and I'm so happy that you now love going to school. Look at you aftter 10 months! (Mar 2010).
Materials: PPS (Prima straberry kisses & flights of fancy, MME Quite Contrary) Prima flowers & bling, AAS gem brads, JBS journaling card, Alphas (October Afternoon & AC thickers)
Thanks for letting me share!

Off you Go!
This is my layout for Sketch #45 at Inspired Blueprints. These photos have been printed out for quite some time and I'm glad that it worked with the sketch!
Journaling: You had so much fun going up and down the sloping gardens of Taal Vista Hotel and we enjoyed watching you! (Sept 2009)
Materials: Mostly October Afternoon Cherry Hill but background paper is DreamStreet.

We have an AD challenge....
....over at Butterfly Crafts. It's a great ad with lots of possibilities!
I used the colors as inspiration for this layout...
The flower is handmade and inspired by Donna Salazar. Here's a closer look.
I hope you can join us in this challenge. You have until the end of the month to submit your layouts!

Last minute entries
Happy Easter to everyone! I hope you all had a meaningful holy week. We usually just stay at home during this 4 day weekend, so I got a little creative and came up with last minute entries for challenges.
The scraplifting challenge at Scrapbook Challenges is still ongoing and this is my lift of the layout for week #5.
I decided to scrap a layout related to my dad 'coz it was his birthday last April 2. Miss you Daddy!
Title: Flowers for Lolo
Journaling: It saddens me that you didn't get to meet Lolo Delfin but at least you know that we always have flowers for him.
Materials: Websters Pages Nature's Storybook pps, & some Prima flowers
This next layout is for Design Dollies color challenge. The combo for this week is Red, Turqoise, and Black/White.
Title: Beach Lover
Journaling: It is so easy for you to forget the world around you when you are at the beach. You can spend long hours just sitting on the sand, making castles, and looking for sea shells. (12/29/2009, Cebu).
Materials: Kaisercraft pps, Pink Paislee alphas, AAS brad, Prima flower, blings
This layout is another layout using the March ScrapMuse kit. The MME Quite Contrary pps are so cute! Oh, I made the blue flower using the ribbon that came with the kit.
Journaling: One of the essentials for a hot day is an orange popsicle (Ally, 3 1/2)
I also misted on the flower to change its color. It is originally white. Here's a closer look...
Thanks for looking. I hope you are ready for the coming work week!
